Published by Dennis Kirk Game Calls, at first glance it looks like a primer for the beginning predator caller. On closer inspection, you will find it is more a promotional tool for Dennis Kirk's calling and hunting products, a sort of sales brochure without pricing, and a little short on quality content. Take note of the title, Coyote Calling East and West. Somehow the book ended up organized in reverse. The book begins with the East and the West, setting up the rivalry and attempting to explain why Easterners have it so tough and Westerners have it so easy. Only then, does it finally get to the "Calling Coyotes" parts, but by then, I'd lost interest. There are much better manuals without the odd organization or the catalog feel. Currently unavailable through book vendors, perhaps it can be purchased directly.
