The sound list from Minaska contained 155 files and you never know what you're going to get. They range in length from a few seconds of sound dubbed up electronically to look like more, up to a full 5'30 loop of Jumpin' Jack. Two of the sounds, Sandhill Cottontail and Snowshoe Hare were the same exact sound played at different speeds, different pitches.

But out of the confusion, comes some really great stuff. Jumpin' Jack, Wounded Woody, and Madl Lips are three of the best sounds not just in the Minaska sound list, but in the entire catalog. A caller using just those three sounds could win any contest on a given day. There are at least 9 rabbits and 4 birds that are rated excellent.

The Minaska files were .MP3 and that didn't leave much overhead for editing. The loop times in the chart are deceiving and in many cases do not correspond to the real length. See some of the measured lengths in the comments section for comparison. I included a column for bitrates.
